1 individual petition (the prisoner) on behalf of Matthew Thackray confined in Chester Castle 'Radical Barracks' for want of bail/assault on J Cliffe, surgeon [much of the latter part of the petition is illegible]; a covering letter from C Abbott; and letters from the prisoner [x2]. There is a covering letter from J Lloyd to Henry Hobhouse ' I have thought it right to acquaint you, if you shou'd [should] not discover it from the style of his Letters, that he has got the 'Bee in his Bonnet'.
