Report of George Wood on 1 collective petition (83 people of Evesham, including the mayor and the prosecutor) on behalf of William Heach, gardener convicted at Warwickshire Lent Assizes in 1811 of stealing a bag of copper coins, value 10/-, property of John Marsh on 16 February 1811. Evidences supplied by John Marsh, Edward Roberts, Thomas Davies, Ann Marsh, John New and William Phillips. Grounds for clemency: the prisoner is honest, respectable and is of previous good character, committed the crime through ignorance and he has 2 elderly parents to support. Recommendation: speaks against mercy. Folios 197-200
