Lease

By Sir ROBERT JENKINSON, knt., to NICHOLAS PROWSE of Ingleston in Hawksbury, yeoman, and ELIZABETH his wife - in consideration of the Surrender of a former Lease by Arthur Crewe to Mary Prowte, widow, and Nicholas Rouche for years determinable upon their lives, and also the Surrender of a copyhold estate granted by Nicholas Butler, esq., late lord of the Manor of Hawksbury - of:- A messuage or tenement and ½ a yardland belonging in Ingleston in the tithing of Stoke; a close of meadow called Parnells Meade containing 2 ac. in Little Allesley; 3 acres upon Bensty and a coteland at the Stirte called Jeromes in the tithing of Stoke And all the tithe of hay of the premises and common of pasture. Term 80 years if the said Nicholas Prowte should so long live; and after his decease to hold to the said Elizabeth for 99 years if she should so long live. Signature, Ro: Jenkinson, seal & tag gone
