Richard Menlove of Hisland in the parish of Oswestry gentleman 2. Thomas Hawley late of Cause Castle, but now of Shrewsbury gentleman 3. Thomas Lloyd of Osbaston in the parish of Kinnerley and John Asterley of Gareghova in the County of Denbigh gentleman (a trustee for the said Thomas Lloyd) Release. Recited indentures:-

'And the said Thomas Lloyd has satisfied and paid to Thomas Hawley the sum of £17,040 and Thomas Hawley has discharged the principal of £3,000 secured to Richard Menlove and the interest thereon, but Menlove has not yet executed any conveyance of the said mortgaged premises in trust for the said Thomas Lloyd.

Now in consideration of 10/- paid by Lloyd to Menlove, Menlove at the direction of Hawley, has released the said manor now in the possession of Lloyd by virtue of a bargain and sale of see No.279/75 subject to the use of John Asterley during the life of Thomas Lloyd in trust for Lloyd and to prevent the present or any future wife of Lloyd from being entitled to dower
