The donee appears to be Rowland Heylyn, the future sheriff of London and Master of the Ironmongers' Company, who left estates in Laleham at his death (D.N.B.). Jane Thompson was later, as a widow, co-lessee of the site of the manor of Laleham (V.C.H.Middx., vol. ii, p. 398.]
