Description (What the record is about)
-
Oxford ½p, typescript
Has been waiting before writing, to get the advice of J.Hatton, who spent nine months at Monash University. Monash can only be reached by motor-car, so the question arises of how parents would occupy themselves during the lectures for young people. Such a scheme of lectures, especially with Bragg's help, would give a considerable boost to Monash University. Thinks it would cause some hard feeling on the part of Melbourne University. This is probably inevitable unless the scheme were run by some non-University body. Professor R.Street, head of the Physics Department at Monash, is coming to Oxford in January and Bragg could discuss the matter with him then.
