Folios 38-165. Letter from [Hayes Levisden Parker and co.], agents for Wright and Barton, Solicitors, East Dereham, to the Local Government Board, enclosing a petition for a provisional order for compulsory purchase of lands under Lands Clauses Act and application for sewage and operation for like purposes for water works in East Dereham and Scarning.
Extract from the Norfolk News 14 November 1874, 21 and 28 November 1874. Notice for Mitford and Launditch Rural Sanitary Authority application to apply for provisional order to purchase lands for sewage works. Lands are in parishes of East Dereham, Gressenhall and Scarning. Property in Gressenhall, trustees of John Sutton Hastings now in occupation of John Hastings. Property in Scarning, occupied by Barry Girling. Property of trustees of Scarning Free School, in occupation of William R Long. Application for provisional order to purchase land for water works. Properties of William Earl Gascoyne Lytton Bulwer, Mary Anne Dering Bulwer, in occupation by Thomas Brown.
Declaration from Charles Wright, Clerk to the Mitford and Launditch Rural Sanitary Authority that in accordance with the Local Government Act 1875 s75 that he caused to be published an advertisement in the Norfolk News for sewage works and water works.
