20 horse power double-acting sun & planet engine, with 23¾ inch cylinder,5 foot stroke, parallel motion, cast iron beam.

Coloured original and reverse general view of the engine and plan of the engine and boilers, reverse longitudinal section of boiler; working gear - coloured original front and side views; reverse plan and sections of the engine and boiler houses, framing and cistern; reverse drawings of cast iron plate to go across engine house, pillar to support working beam, plummer block pillars, cast iron beam, parts of the parallel motion (2 originals made, one for the Foundry, one for Soho), wrought iron bolts (marked "Important Drawings!!!"); undated plan and sections of boiler; sketch plan of premises showing old and new mills, engine house and location of "Old Engine 40 horse power". All the drawings except the last 2 items bear letter codes.
