My friend Axtell is returned : I han't yet had so successfull opertunity as to pump their proceedings out of him .... any time I mention it to him he leers like a dog half hanged. Mentions Portry, R. Izard, H. Adams - 3 pair silver spurs Pray send the best means I could purchase my freedom of London & the charge to get & keep it & whether I could buy another mans freedom of him.
