Description

Apart from the day books observing patients who have had minor operations (MH/T4/Kb 1), these volumes contain quite serious medical cases (mainly head injuries and overdoses).

Where relevant, they include the following details: data; time; name of consultant; name, address, date of birth, age and religion of patient; name of private doctor; next of kin (usually just the relationship is stated) and their address, if different from the patient's; telephone number; diagnosis; treatment (usually just the frequency of observations is stated); result; disposal of the patient (date, time and destination).
