Vertical engine, with 48 inch cylinder, 7 foot stroke.Elevations of the proposed engine - copy drawing on blueprint paper ( 2 copies); details of steam piston - partially coloured tracing; sketch showing air pump valves - coloured tracing; details of piston rods, details of lever and girders for working air pump, detail of guide block for crosshead - partially coloured tracing; detail of 90 inch blowing cylinder, detail of bottom for 90 inch air cylinder - copies on blueprint paper; lubricator for crank pins - partially coloured tracing; general arrangement of the engine, section and front elevation of the air cylinder - copy drawings; general arrangement of working gear and detail of slide valve and case - copy on blueprint paper.
Also details of crank pin in disc - coloured tracing and copy on blueprint paper, Apr. 1892.For Alfred Hickman. Blowing engine, Spring Vale Furnaces, Wolverhampton. The engine worked a 90 inch blowing cylinder.
