"A plan of the corporation town of Glastonbury with the adjoining moors" [very probably surveyed by Rich. Locke]
Scale 4" : 1 mile O.S. 6" 52 all sheets
Most of the west and centre of the parish of Glastonbury together with Ashcott and Walton Turbaries including the town in which some buildings are named in a detailed key, although most of the reference numbers and letters are obliterated. Details of Abbey buildings stated (size). The surrounding moors are named together with bridges, ditches and hills. The dates of earlier enclosure are stated.
Kennard, Glastonbury Heath and Hulk Moors are shown unenclosed, but were enclosed in 1783 (see MAP\Q\RD 118)
