<span class="wrapper"><p>After being deposited by the Sussex Archaeological Society , 17 August 1970 (ACC 1111), the following records were added to the Folkington parish archive (PAR341) but were re-listed as part of the Gwynne archive (GWY10/2-9), whence they came, in April 2005:</p> <p>Overseers' rates, 1820-1849; overseers' accounts, 1820-1868; overseers' collecting and deposit book, 1868-1880; surveyors' rate book, 1876-1877; school cash book, 1878-1896.</p></span>

Deposited by the incumbent and PCC, 14 December 1979 (ACC 2491), 9 July 1980 (ACC 2585), 5 May 1981 (ACC 2702), 12 December 1984 (ACC 4386) and 20 June 2000 (ACC 8146). It is clear from the use of a metal stamp to indicate the reference that the document listed as PAR 341/38/1 was transferred to ESRO long before the initial deposit of the parish records in 1979. Although it seems probable that its immediate provenance was the records of the former Public Assistance Committee, otherwise listed as G, for want of definite evidence it has been retained in the parish archive.
