"The be agreed at this assemblye that William Mackworth and his sonne Arthure Mackworth shall be admitted free burgesses of the town payinge x li for their fyne of admittance". The money is to be repaid to them if William and his wife shall join with Arthure Mackworth his father in making the assurance to the town of the plot of ground at the conduit and of the water called brodwall there, and to make these assurances at the next assizes.
