Royal lease to John Lutwiche, consderation £7 7s 4d, Roger Owen and Edward Mytton of all the chapel in Burton with all appurtenances, and all tithes whether of grain or corn in the vills of Burton and Goosebradley with the tithes of wool, and of young lambs in the capital messuages or farms of Burton with their appurtenaces, formerly of the monastery of Wenlock, and all houses, buildings etc. and all tithes, emoluments etc. of the monastery.

Description

To hold the chapel by John Lutwich and his ansigns for the term of his life, and after his death or forfeiture by Roger Owen, after his death or forfeiture by Edward Mytton for the term of his life. Paying annually, 73s 8d at the feasts of Michaelmas and Lady Day, in equal portions during the separate terms of the lives of John Roger and Edward; after their deaths paying 20s each as heriot. John Roger and Edward shall maintain the premises during their separate terms and shall receive sufficient houseboote, hedgeboote, fyreboote, ploughboote, and cartboote; if it should happen that the annual rent shall be unpaid wholely or in part for more than 40 days during the term, the premises shall be vaca ted by the above persons and entry prohibited to them; royal confirmation promised to John, Roger and Edward for premises so leased.
