Description

Concerns Mr Cope and Mr Crompton visiting Chatsworth when the Duke was away in Nottinghamshire; a warning from Captain Morgan about the man who trades in Birmingham wanting to return excise money; Mr Bonsey's report from Derby of little company and a lot of smallpox; plans to be in London before Christmas; a letter to his wife from the Ingries hopefully resulting in seeing them soon. Written from Chatsworth. Signed 'Devonshire'.
