Consideration: £845 from Sam Pritchard to T.J. Powys - piece of land in Meole called the field on the side of the Meadow (2a 3r 6p) (late Thos Hiles, miller, then Sam. Pritchard).

Recital of Sam. Pritchard's will of 2 Sept 1802 leaving property in Meole and St. Julian's bought of Wm Mostyn Owen Esq., T.J. Powys and the devisees of the late Thomas Loxdale, Esq. to Jos. Carless of Shrewsbury, banker and Jno Beck, banker, with consent of his wife Mary Pritchard to sell the same.

Recital lease and release of 7 & 8 Oct. 1808 between Jos. Carless and John Beck (1) Mary Pritchard, widow (2) Wm Coupland (3) (1) & (2) of the 4th part, Elinor Jeffreys, widow, Wm Prissick, Esq, Thos Lloyd, gent and Joseph Asterley, gent, executrix and executors of Robert Jefferys (5) John Flavell, gent (6) Francis Axon (7) Rd Juson, gent (8) Eliza Pritchard, Jane Pritchard (since deceased) and Martha Pritchard (9) Richard Drinkwater, woolstapler, trustee of Eliza, Jane and Martha Pritchard (10) Wm Harley, watchmaker, another trustee of Eliza etc. (11)

The property was put up for auction in 14 lots and Eliza, Jane and Martha Prichard bought, inter alia, The Boggy Meadow, part of the 2 pieces in the lease and release of 14 & 15 March 1794 and the residue being the piece bought on 2 & 3 June 1801 and then called the field on the side of the Meadow, bing Lot 1.

Consideration: £2,255 18s 9d, grant to the Pritchards of divers houses and lands including the piece of land called the Boggy Meadow (4a 31p) adjoining the turnpike road from Shrewsbury towards Church Stretton (late Sam. Pritchard, then Eliza, Jane and Martha) in Pulley.

Jane Pritchard lately died. Her will of 22 June 1805 with codicil of 31 Dec.1809 left her property to her 2 sisters.

Francis Axon now buys the same for £488 7s 8d.
