Recital of indenture of 30 March 1730 between John Jones (1) Elizabeth Leighton, widow of Richard Leighton of Rodenhurst, Esq., decd. (2) for £300 from Elizabeth Leighton, John Jones mortgages to her 3 messuages in Shrewsbury in Butcher Row (John Jones, Thomas Roden and Thomas Davies) and closes - Coleham Meadow or Marsh's Leasow in Coleham (JohnJones) for 1,000 years. Proviso for redemption.

Recital of indenture of 11 Sept. 1736 between John Jones (1) Elizabeth Leighton (2) Richard Boycott (3). A fine was levied. In consideration of £300 from Rd Boycott to pay Elizabeth Leighton and a further £300 lent to John Jones, fruther property was added in the indenture of 11 Dec(sic) 1836, and transfer to Richard Boycott of 2 pieces of meadow or pasture called Great St. Johns' and Little St John's fields (John Jones) in Coleham, near to a large piece of land called Kingsland; a piece of meadow or pasture (John Jones) in or near Coleham called the Pasture or piece of ground adjoining to the Pike Furlong; a little messuage (Sam. Rodon) lately built on part of the last piece of pasture.
