The negatives comprising this deposit were all taken by Brian Lomas prior to his commission with the D.P.A. They cover two major areas of work, shops in North Manchester taken between 1982 and 1985, and the architecture of Stalybridge, photographed in 1984 and 1985. Prints from this work featured in the exhibition organised by the D.P.A. following the completion of the Brian Lomas commission on Ashton Moss undertaken between 1988 and 1990. (See D.P.A. C7)
