Draft of revised statutes for cathedrals, excluding Christ Church, Oxford, drawn up by Archbishop Parker and other members of the commission for ecclesiastical causes by order of Queen Elizabeth I, by virtue of 1 Eliz.I c.xxii, 4 June 1562, with an extract from letters patent re-appointing the commission, 20 July 1562 (CPR Eliz.I, 1560-63, 11, 279). They bear the signatures of Archbishop Parker, Robert Horne, Bishop of Winchester, Richard Cox, Bishop of Ely, Alexander Nowell, Dean of St. Paul's, Thomas Watts, Archdeacon of Middlesex, and Thomas Yale, Chancellor to the Archbishop of Canterbury.
