Dispensation signed by Thomas Harper, Deputy Grand Master, granted to John Ruffin, Worshipful Master of Lodge of Love and Unity, No. 203 [SN 948], Dover and others to preside as Deputy Grand Master and Wardens pro tempore to consecrate Lodge of Unanimity, No. 147, meeting in the Third Regiment of Royal Lancashire Militia at Dover. Harper asks for a copy of the minutes of the proceedings of the meeting to be sent to Grand Lodge in London.

Lodge of Unanimity was granted a travelling warrant by the Antients' Grand Lodge on 13 March 1812 and met in the Third Royal Lancashire Militia stationed at Dover. Sometime during 1812 the regiment relocated to Canterbury, and then to Chatham and then finally in 1814 to Preston, Lancashire. The lodge remained there and in 1823 was named Lodge of Unanimity, meeting at the New Legs of Man, Fishergate, Preston. The Lodge still exists today and now meets at Ashlar House in Preston.
