Mr. Rodway first set up business in Wilmslow in 1933 after training as a watch-maker in Winsford and working for several years with three trade repairers shops in Shudehill, Manchester. His first premises were in Harrison Buildings Green Lane and in 1935 he moved his shop to 18 Alderley Road which he occupied until November 1974 when the lease expired and finally closed the business.
