The items in sections E/34/6 and E/34/8 together with E/34/12/2, 3, E/34/13/1/2 and E/34/19/1-5, 7, 8 were deposited by the headteacher, March 1972 and March 1989.
E/34/12/1 and E/34/13/1/1 were transferred by the Director of Education, April 1953.
E/34/19/6 was presented by R. Hawkins, Esq., 1 Moorfield, Camelsdale, December 1983.

The school was opened in October 1901 as 'The Bell School'. In September 1904, it moved to new buildings and became the Camelsdale School. It was enlarged in 1908.
