(1) 24/25 February 1819 Conveyance [lease and release] from George Booth the elder of Bramley Park in the parish of Abbots Bromley, Staffs, gent, John Darleston Bakesley of Castle Bromwich, Warws, gent, Thomas Morris of Coventry, silk manufacturer to Abraham Herbert of Coventry, silk manufacturer, Thomas Rashleigh of Blackheath, Kent, esq., John Hale of Tamworth, Staff and Warws, Chandler and Mr. Paine, of Coventry, bankers clerk. Reciting: 1/2 April 1807. Conveyance [lease and release] from John Humberston Cawley, late of Glaersylt Park, Denbighs, then of Anfield House, Lancs, Henrietta Maria Phillips of Rhydyn, Flints, widow to Phillip Humberston of Chester, gent, George Booth of Oakley, Staffs and John Darlaston Blakesley, 27 March 1811. Conveyance [lease and release] from Henrietta Maria Phillip and Phillip Humbeston, Sussanah Bourne and Hannah Litchford to George Booth, the elder, John Darlaston Blakesley and John Hull: Contract for £400 from George Booth to Thomas Morris for the tithes and the repair of the chancel of the parish church of Exhall, excepting synodals and other ecclesiastical dues from the said tithes : 23 January 1790. Indenture assigning the residue of an estate for 500 years from Elborough Woodcock, John Maddocks, Thomas Liell, James Louis Macie to Henry Boulton, John Blackburne, Charles Foreman, William Mathews, Frederick Phillips, Thomas Rashleigh of Hatton Gardens, the parish of St. Andrew Holborn, Middx., gent, of tithes granted by Elborough Woodcock by indenture dated 17 March 1778 from Charles Vere, John Maddocks, Thomas Liell, Elizabeth Macie to Elborough Woodock, assuring to Thomas Rashleigh in trust for Frederick Phillips to wait upon the freehold and inheritance of the premises for 5s paid from William Paine to Thomas Rashleigh. Thomas Rashleigh by the direction of George Booth, the elder, and nomination of Thomas Morris sold all tithes etc. for the rest of the term of 500 years to William Paine: 27 March 1811. Indenture described above and 11 April 1802 Mortgage by indenture described above. 11 October 1808. Indenture of assignment for the remainder of the term of 1,000 years from Phillip Humberston, with the consent of George Booth, the elder, to Bourne and Hannah Litchford, which property was previously assigned to John Hull, trustee of George Booth, the elder, for a term of 1,000 years. This indenture witnessed that the remainder of the term of 1,000 years was assigned by John Hull to William Paine in trust for William Morris. Abstract signed by the Reverend Thomas Warden, rector of Exhall, in respect of £400, synodals and ecclesiastical dues to be deducted from the tithe.
