Bodle sold to John Ade coach-maker in 1823 who the next year sold to George Drowley, horse-dealer. He then sold in 1828 to Sargent Harman, smith, who mortgaged it to John Rickman to whom it was released after Harmans death since the mortgage money was unpaid. The property was acquired by the council on 28 July 1932.
