Folio 683. Draft letter from the Local Government Board to James Saunders, Clerk to the East Dereham Local Board in the Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union, stating they have, pursuant to section 243 of the Public Health Act 1875, [38 & 39 Vic c 55], recommended the Public Works Loan Commissioners to lend to the East Dereham Local Board the sums of £4000 for works of water supply and £4000 and £1000 for works of sewerage and sewage disposal. Details of the interest rate to be applied together with repayment terms are also included.
