'There is normally an access fee of £10 per hour (plus VAT) as a contribution towards the cost of administration of the Archives, which are privately owned and maintained. Students registered on a recognised course are exempt from the fee. The level of charges for other researchers may be reduced where the research adds considerably to the knowledge of Holkham Hall and estate.'
