Most of these papers belong to Morgan Phillips(1902-63).He retired from his post in 1962,so there are some tha relate to his successor Len Williams.There are also some that pre-date Phillips' appointment in 1944.The collection,however,represents the Labour Party in government and opposition during the post-war era.
