Description

Letter of James Porter, formally of the Lodge at the Swan Inn, Dover, to Robert Leslie, Grand Secretary, stating due to his enemies he has been charged with attempting 'to commit the sin you have described in Chapter 19 of the Book of Genesis' and as a result he has been sent to Goal and expelled from the lodge. Therefore he requests Grand Lodge to impartially consider the matter, as the man who has falsely accused him is worthy of the punishment and not him.
