Description

The research notes have been divided by subject with the majority relating to Public Houses, clubs and the brewing industry in and around Middlesbrough. There are also some other notes on aspects of local history that interested Mr Bulman. In addition, there is a large number of photographs and slides some collected by Mr Bulman and many others taken by him over the years.

Mr Bulman lived in Berwick Hills and was a well respected local historian who left this collection of notes and photographs that were donated by his family following his death in 2019.
