Conveyance by the Mayor and Corporation of Stratford upon Avon (in obedience to a rule of the Court of Common Pleas in a cause between Richard Watton and others, plaintiffs and Francis Barnett and others, defandants) to Sir John Clopton, Knt., John Combe, esq., and Richard Tyler, gent., as trustees for the inhabitants of the parish of Old Stratford, and Edward Clopton, esq., Hugh Clopton, esq., and John Wheeler, gent., as trustees for the said corporation, of the church-yard of the said parish of Stratford, the intent being for the inhabitants 'to have liberty of sepulture in the said churchyard and the trees growing in the said churchyard to be alwayes used for the repaires of the said church chancel, and vicarage house, and the herbage and grasse from tyme to tyme growing to bee alwayes enioyed by the vicar'. Counterpart, signed by Sir John Clopton, and John Wheeler.
