Lodge of Freedom was named and established in 1788 by the Antients' Grand Lodge as No, 246. In 1788 the lodge met at an unknown location in Dudley, Worcestershire. By 1790 the lodge met at the Hen and Chickens, Castle Street and New Street, Dudley and in 1812 the lodge relocated to the Green Dragon, King Street, Dudley. In 1813 the lodge left Dudley and started to meet at the Green Dragon, Park Lance, Tipton, Staffordshire. The lodge was erased in 1828.
