Single-acting engine, with 36 inch cylinder, 8 foot stroke, chain connection.General view of the engine; outside front view of the engine and part of round boiler - direct copy and reverse drawings; inside front view of the engine and cross-section of the boiler; ground plan of the engine and boiler - reverse drawing [?]; first floor plan of the engine and boiler - reverse drawing; ground plan of the engine house; section of the engine house - partially coloured drawing; plan and side view of the upper working gear, plan and side view of working gear - reverse drawings; sections of nozzles - 2 full size drawings; boiler steam pipe; eduction pipe - reverse drawing; half gudgeon.

For Wheal Treasury. According to the List of Engines made at Soho, the engine was stopped in Mar. 1783 and sold to Wheal Gons, where it worked from Nov. 1784 to Oct. 1788. It then moved to Wheal Crenver, where it started work in Jun. 1789 alongside the 60 inch engine ordered by Wheal Crenver in 1786 [see Portfolio 5/1306].
