Description

The author writes to her brother concerning: her journey to a from Monmouthshire; her visit to the silk Mills in Derby and her description of them; a bad account of Grandma Russell [Lady Russell]; her mother going to attend to Lady Russell and their setting out for Brampton tomorrow.

This letter includes an inserted account of Lady Rachel Morgan's estate at the death of Sir William (post-1731), which appears to be unrelated to the letter in subject or date.

Written from Chatsworth. Signed 'Ra. Morgan'. Addressed to Lord James Cavendish.
