(1) pp. 1-91. Brief Heads of Clauses in the Company's Letters to Surat 5th July 1672--29th Sept. 1679. (2) pp. 93-140, 145-95, Abstract of Clauses in Letters to Fort St. George and the Bay 5th July 1672--24th Dec. 1675. (3) pp. 141-5, Commission and Instructions (23rd Dec 1674) to Major William Puckle, who was sent to the Coast of Coromandel and the Bay of Bengal to inspect and report upon the state of the Company's affairs there. (Major Puckle arrived at Madras in 1676. See Love's Vestiges of Old Madras, I 341.) Puckle's Diary at Masulipatam and Madras is to be found in the Factory Records, Masulipatam, Vol. XII
