Pettitt's Folio Diary for 1907. Mostly unused but containing a few experimental notes in unknown hand. Entries for 11 Jan - tube of neon; 14 Jan - experiment with helium liquefier using ethylene to cool the hydrogen; 21 Jan - helium; 24 Jan - capacity of helium liquefier; 7 Feb - helium; 13 Feb. - density of helium; 18 Feb. - helium; 24-6 Nov- fractionation of Bath gas; 30 Nov - experiments on rate of condensation of air and oxygen in copper tubes; 2 Dec.- experiment to determine composition of liquefied mixture of equal volumes of air and nitrogen; 9 Dec - helium; 10 Dec - purification of Bath gas, testing of helium pump and circuit; 19 Dec - liquid hydrogen (inserted - page of notes on cooling of liquids and gases and on liquid air).
