See deposit No.466. Mr. Hayes's father (born Nottingham, who moved to Bolton for work. His son (born 1900) went into the design office with him at Walter Mather's Mill, but didn't like the work, and moved out into the motor trad e.
There is considerable mix-up here as photographs were removed by donor before details of contact prints and originals checked.
