1. Henry Bernard late of Bridgnorth esq.

2. Sir Thomas Whitmore of Grafton co Worcs. knt. of the Bath.

Bargain and sale of a capital messuaged called St. Johns als the Hospital of St. John Baptist in the Lowe towne of Bridgnorth (late Henry Bernard), a backside or close (5a) extending in the upper part to a common or waste ground called Morffe and southward to a rowe of houses late of Henry Robinson esq. and northward to land now or late of Francis Taylor gent; a close or piece of meadowground called Broad meadowe (sometime Henry Robinson or his undertenant sometime Samuell Bright as undertenant) in the parish of St. Mary Magdalen between the River of Seaverne and the waye leading from Lowe town towards Quatford (15a); and all deeds etc. concerning the premises only with copies of others which Bernard covenants to deliver to Whitmore within 6 months (Whitmore to pay for the copies), to hold of the chief lord of the fee by services due. Warranty clause. Bernard covenants that the title is good and for quiet possession. Covenant for further assurance within 7 years by Henry Bernard and Emma his wife but they are not to travel more than 7 miles for the purpose. Sir William Whitmore Bart, Sir John Weld knt, John Byrche gent and George Gatacre gent, appointed as attornies to take and give livery of seizin.
