Administrative / biographical background

Mrs. Jones is the daughter of Clarence Richardson, (see Tape no.1062 and deposit no.1617). Many of these photographs belonged to her aunt, her father's sister, Ethel Richardson, b.1893, died 1981. The donor's mother was Gladys Richardson, and she has a sister Sheila. They were brought up in Heyhead, in the house on Ringway Rd. where her father still lives. They went to Shadow Moss school, and attended Heyhead Congregational chapel where the donor was an active member of the choir. She was born in 1930, and is now married to Alan Jones, blacksmith and wrought iron metal worker at Dean Row, Wilmslow, and for many years involved with Styal Amateur Football Club.
