1. Sound-sensitive jets; analysis of photographs of film vortices by arc and spark; absorption bands in spectra of reflected light. 8 Dec. 1921-4 March 1922.
2. Black development - critical and normal; effect of jets on same. 8 March to 19 April 1922.
3. Permanence and variation in wholly black films; deep black vortices on grey misty films. 20 April to 20 May 1922.
4. Black convectiom; long-running vortices, several days unchanged; ratio of illumination of various blacks and silvers; pressure and velocity of jets; open-air sensitive films; magnetic displacements of stream of O, He, H etc. 23 May to 18 Sept. 1922.
