Abram Local Board was formed in 1880. The series of Local Board records has not survived, though miscellaneous documents are to be found - see D/DX E1 177 for example.
The Local Board was superseded by an Urban District Council; the earliest existent minutes are held for April 1895, though clearly the Urban District Council was in operation before this date.
