Description

“So the war is over!! or at least we hope so; nothing definite yet”. Says that Peggy is stationed at Calshot. Hoping for good harvest weather for Sybil. Tells of the forthcoming auction sale of Uncle Will’s house and sad not to have seen Kath since his death. Urging Sybil to come home for a visit. Comments that Daddy does intend to get the car out again as he is not in a fit state to drive. “His nerves are all to pieces and mine are pretty well the same”.
