"The book of the survey of the Manors of Norton St. Phillipp and Henton...". Wm. Ld. Craven La. of Manor. Sam. Parsons surveyor. Both manors divided into the Grange, leasehold, copyhold and freehold lands; stating tenants, detailed property descriptions, acreages, reference numbers, annual value. The Manor of Norton (c.1520a) incl. houses in the village (streets named) incl. The Flower de Luce; The George with the Fair Loft "where the lynnen cloth is sould at the fare tymes"; Almshouse in North Street; with a survey of the glebe. The Manor of Henton (c.2365a.) incl. the site of the Abbey & Midford Mills (both freehold), The Glebe; note on underwood and timber in the manor, note re abuses by the farmers of the Grange relating to the timber there, 1639
