19 Novr 19 Eliz. Indenture. Parties William Hancocke of Lougher Higham Co. Lancr gent. one part & Isabel Taylior of South Kirkbie Co. York, Widow.
Lease in consideration of "a certain sum of money" to Isabel Taylior of all that messuage or tenement in South Kirkbie & all houses, orchards, lands etc, etc, appertaining now or late in the tenure of John & of one Richard Clerke decd. for the term of 21 years, at the yearly rent of 40/- by even portions at the feast of Pentecost & St. Martyns, the Bishop in Winter & the fines etc, due & accustomed.
Power of entry & distress on non-payment of rent.
Covenant by Isabel to keep buildings etc, in repair.
