By William Robinson of Barbon, Kirkby Lonsdale, yeoman stating:-
- 53 years old;
- Almost entire life spent in Barbon and Middleton;
- Remembrance of Henry Wadeson, formerly of Barbon Beckside, yeoman, seized at time of making will and to death of certain freehold closes of land then called High Croft and Low Croft and other hereditaments in Barbon;
- By will of Henry Wadeson, made 24 March 1815, premises devised to nephew James Robinson who was in possession until 1828, when premises conveyed by him to William Robinson;
- Beckgate Field, lately purchased by Joseph Gibson, esq. was formerly part of High Croft Close;
- William Robinson seized of premises until 1850 when sold to Mr Thomas Eastham of Kirkby Lonsdale.
