Papers concerning a meeting entitled a Call to Christian Action for the application of Christian principles in national and international affairs and for reconciliation with Germany after the war held in Oxford Town Hall on 5 December 1946. The speakers were George Bell, Bishop of Chichester, Roger Wilson, Sir Richard Acland, Victor Gollancz, and Barbara Ward. A copy of the published report is at ff.99-105: Call to Christian Action in public affairs (A), 1946.
Also papers concerning the subsequent formation of the Oxford Committee for Promoting Friendship and Understanding with Europe, and a vacation course in Oxford for German teachers, 1947. Also papers concerning a meeting on the application of the principle of reconciliation to British policy towards Germany held in the Sheldonian Theatre, Oxford, and addressed by Quintin Hogg and Victor Gollancz, 30 November 1947.
