Thomas Barnes, plumber and glazier, was admitted gratis having served above seven years apprentice and journeyman in the City.
Upon the Mayor's motion, Isaac Badgor, vintner, was admitted gratis.
Upon reading the petition of George Eaton, stonecutter, for a lease for 99 years of a quarry of good red stone on Hough Green common, it was rejected.
Upon reading the petition of George Eaton for a lease for 99 years of a piece of waste ground near the Gorsestacks in the lane leading from the Northgate to the Gorsestacks, 12 yards long by 8 and about 6 feet from the pavement of the lane, to build a house, an order was made for viewing and reporting.
