York], 8 January 1555/6, stating that he had received the commission for the subsidy and the Earl's letters, and that he regretted that his not voting on a certain bill in Parliament had been reported as disaffection to the King and Queen, whom he was ready to serve. Gives a long report on evidence collected in a case apparently of rape at Wakefield mill, of which Richard Tempest and John Kay were suspected.
