Folios 355-356. Letter from Walter May Barton, Clerk to the Guardians of the Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union, to the Local Government Board, enclosing a resolution passed by the guardians on 19 January 1880, in respect of the remuneration to the clerk of the sum of £58 18s.
Extract from minutes of guardians dated 10 November 1879. On the recommendation of the School Attendance Committee, it was resolved that subject to the consent of the Local Government Board, Charles Wright, the late clerk to the committee, is to be paid £58 18s as a remuneration for his services from Lady Day 1878 to the date of his resignation.
