Colne County Petty Sessional Division was formed out of Blackburn County PSD when that was split c.1900. The Colne division absorbed Colne Borough Petty Sessions (PSCo) in April 1954 and was itself merged with Burnley County PSD (PSBy) in January 1958 to form Burnley and Colne County PSD (PSBc).
